Appears he knows what he's doing. Haha. They do say he's one of the best ADs in the country.

I wonder how Arkansas fans would feel if Butch Davis ends up being the guy.

Meh you beat me to it. What glorious news this is.
YES, BAWZ, WE ARE FREE!!! I am down to keep the fat bastard until December, day after early signing day, with our new coach already on deck well before that. Man, this is gonna be so righteous, and when we nab another Big Name , LSU fans are gonna melt so hard.

I'd bet money your next coach is Chad Morris. Up and coming, hungry and recruits Texas. Only downside is we'll steal him if he has success (he's an Aggie).
LOL!!! Hogs would NEVER hire an Aggie. Like, seriously, baw.

there is no reason to leave tech for arkansas.
Some of you morons are just beyond stupid. OUR LAST TWO HIRES- We nabbed the ATLANTA FALCONS HC in mid season. Then we NABBED THE Badger's HC BEFORE THE SEASON, and he coached all year living the lie. Ya'll DUMB AF if you think we wont make a splashy hire. IT'S WHAT WE DO.

Arkansas would be foolish not to give it a shot. Throw the right money out there and the allure of working 90 minutes from your hometown may land him
Literally the closest Big Time school to his home. ANd his recruiting ties are all border states to Arkansas.

and i wouldn't be surprised if jeff long nudged them into taking a look at those buyout numbers again. i'm sure he has gotten tired of being roasted daily over the buyout.
my thoughts exactly. So, you ARE smart, just biased.

I would be willing to bet it is him too, but he will sign a non compete clause and will not be able to go to another sec school if he signs with us.

I would be good with this. Fuente would be better, IMO, but Morris or Brohm would be fine.

I think that depends on whether you consider Oklahoma State big time or not, doesn't it?

Still yet, he would be close enough here to drive home in less time than it would take to get to the airport in Virginia and have the plane take off.
