Have only been to Harvard, Stanford, Wisconsin, Texas and SMU.

Stanford's overall campus is very nice but the Quad itself is nearly fully covered with paving stones and has 4 giant planters for greenery. Iconic, yes. Beautiful, meh. If they really mean the Arboretum in front of the Quad then yes, Stanford is both iconic and beautiful

The South Mall at Texas is a nice space.

Harvard's is very "collegiate" - I imagine most big schools in the east are like that.

It's way overdue. I have no idea where they'd build a new one though. Possibly on the south side of the Architecture school where there's all those run down buildings/parking lots? Tear down Lockett & reconfigure that area?

Locket, Middleton and the science buildings behind the union need to go (Tureaud should also probably go). I don't know who was in charge of new buildings at LSU in the late 50's through the early 70's but they are responsible for every eyesore on campus

Thank you for your vested interest in the flagship university of South Carolina. You must have seen the Horseshoe when y'all last played here.
I don't give a shite if someone from somewhere doesn't think the Horseshoe is one of the most 14 beautiful and iconic college quads but it is beautiful and historic.

The Horseshoe is impressive. Took my first trip to your campus a year ago. A campus in a large city never appealed to me but USC is nice. And I guess you could argue that Columbia is not large.

Not just LSU, everywhere else in the world.

I've been to UPenn, and it is pretty awesome. The campus itself is in a fairly ghetto part of Philly, but once you cross the street past the trees into the quad, you'd have no idea. It's like two separate worlds.

Damn right. IMO, BAMA has the nicest campus in the SEC.

I agree, the only reason I go to the library is to study or do a quick print.

1. Blow up outdated Middleton Library(Red X)
2. Tear down Lockett & build a library that matches the design of our campus (lower yellow box). Replace faculty parking that's above & to the right of the new library with green-space/sidewalks.
3. Build an addition on the backside of Hill Memorial Library (upper yellow box) & place a shite ton of books in there so we could have more study space in the new library

Objectively, I'm not sure why LSU's isn't on the list.
Bama's is legit, though.

Indiana has a very underrated campus imo. I don't know if Dunn's Woods qualifies as a "Quad" but it's really unique and beautiful.

I agree, but we're doing an unbelievable job of renovating/replacing the 50s-70s style buildings. I think that puts us over them. I love the style of the LSU campus, though.

LSU, Bama, Ole Miss and UGA are the best I've seen in the SEC. Tennessee's is gross.

I agree, Alabama has really improved their campus the past few years. Looks really nice & clean cut.
