I think they place priority on pedestrian traffic, rather than vehicular traffic, on and around campus. Which I think they should.

The renovation to Russell Hall was awesome.

I had to walk a good 500 feet out of my way every morning because of that damn renovation to get to Physics. Every. Morning.

Yeah, 500 feet is a lot at 8AM.

Now that I'm gone it's all finished.

You are right about on and around campus, but I never have any issues with traffic around there. The only places I ever ran into traffic was 15th St and McFarland.

I knew what you were talking about soon as you said miraculous.

Have you seen the building next to it? All it houses is a bunch of machinery, but it looks bad arse.

McFarland's only bad if you're trying to get on I-20 East. Or on gameday. 15th street sucks though, as does University during schooldays. I recommend taking Jack Warner downtown

Yeah, I think that's just the nature of the beast for those two roads. 15th street doesn't get bad until you get near McFarland. McFarland is the root of all evil.

Now you wanna talk about bad timing. Greensboro Avenue. Those lights are not synced up at all. You sit at a red light, then get stopped two lights later.

Jack Warner

Best road in all of Tuscaloosa. Seen traffic bad after one game, and I think there was a wreck. Other than that, Jack Warner is smooth sailing, and worth going a little out of the way to take it instead of something else.

And I lived on JW all 4 years.

Haha. It's pretty badass. It's so the science and engineering complex can have dedicated power (big deal if a $100,000 experiment is ruined because the power goes out.) It's also more efficient than what they were using before. They put it inside so it wouldn't be loud.

I thought about Greensboro, but didn't mention it because it really never has much traffic.

1. Blow up outdated Middleton Library(Red X)

I don't know if those old enclosed desks are still on the upper floors where people go and study, but the sh*t written on those desks used to give me a good laugh every time.

I remember I dropped my pen one time and went to pick it up and I saw about 50 pieces of chewed gum stuck under the desk with a note saying "Quit looking for gum assh*le and study." Also, great racist jokes from all sides... Studying didn't work well for me there. I either spent all my time reading the jokes or fell asleep because it was so deathly quiet.
