We have to penetrate. Passing the ball around the arc & chucking a 3 with :01 on the shot clock isn't going to get it. Defense is fine but we're nit getting the ball anywhere near the rim.

Bad shooting night so far. 0/9 from the outside will kill you. Not only is a lack of 3 pointers but those are trips down the court with no points.
Georgetown plays good defense, gotta give them that. Our lack of offense is just as much a product of their defense as it is us.

The first couple of games it looked like we would at least be decent from 3. Our ball movement is always a bit slow, so we don't get a lot of open looks. Even when we do, no one can hit them though. Mitchell has been our best shooter this year, as sad as that is. It's kind of perplexing to be honest. Randolph, Cooper, and Lacey were all really good shooters in highschool.
None of that has anything to do with us settling for long jumpers with 3 seconds left on the shot clock instead of driving down the lane or getting the ball into the post though. We need to be feeding Green and Jacobs down low and Releford and Lacey need to at least try to get to the basket.

The problem's not as much shooting, though it's bad, as the freshmen on the perimeter seem timid about any penetration. Not the first zone Bama's faced and they broke the others down with penetration.
Really an off first half though. Mitchell's body language a bit questionable at the end.
Basically, it's just halftime but they need to attack that zone.

I thought they were going to be pretty good from outside. I still think they're too good of shooters to be shooting this badly. I still think the shots will start falling before the year is over.

Georgetown is schooling them into a Big East style of game...and Bama does not know how to respond.
Bama maybe a tad soft...and if they can not hit beyond the 3 arch, then the paint is not opening up.
Hope Bama can make a run...but it looks like the Hoyas are throwing them around.
