That's the damn truth. I'm ready to see Gueye in action and see how much of a different team he makes us if any.

Crowds are getting better, but the 2 loudest times were when TR came in, and when the dude hit the half court shot in the contest.
Should be DURING the actual game.

Tonight was probably indicative of what we'll see in SEC (ie. no swede against most/good teams)

I'm not expecting him to come in and be a double double machine, assuming he does indeed make it back this season. If he can give us 10-15 minutes a night, grab some rebounds, and alter/block shots without getting into foul trouble, he would be helping out tremendously. Mostly because it would allow Green and Mitchell to play at their natural positions more often.

I'm not expecting much either. I just hope he can play this year and be as good as Jacobs. That'd be such an asset.

Alabama is not a top 15 team bro. Not trying to flame. Just telling the truth FWIW.

Why not? I like Alabama's chances if they are able to keep teams under 60 points.

I really like Alabama's chances if they can start knocking down 3's.

Just got in from a LONG night of bball a partying. Refs were pretty shite. I wish Releford wouldve tried penetrating the zone a bit more, but refs wouldn't have put him on the line. 3s killed us, but when they make them with hands in their face then that's just one you have to concede. Their big went in with no Vaseline. The crowd was soft until late in the 2nd. I was yelling back and forth with Gtown fans in the other section and we had no problems hearing each other shite on each other

Can't say I didn't told you so.
Bama will have to deal with poor shooting the entire season, you might have good games, but you are just not a good shooting team.
You are a very good team though, but it is tough to win in college with poor shooting, I don't care how good you are in defense, and up front. We have seen every year teams like BYU, Butler, make runs, because they have very good shooters. It is the nature of the College game. Florida had the same problem last year. Great defense, but sometimes suffered from shooting dry spells, which made for very boring games, and some loses.

I was there. They let them play for the most part, but if a call was called then it was on us. There was one TERRIBLE travel that the refs bailed them out with a foul call. I'm not one to normally bitch about refs, and I've seems worse games called, but we got no home court benefit of the doubt calls.

Still, our worst game of the year and a contested 3 away from beating a good team. I think we'll be fine

man, I'm jealous of Bama basketball right now. Has the coach I'd love, ranked #12, packed house... but that gym was like a fricking library even with all of those people. Students need to wake the frick up.

Said pretty much the same thing about Bama yesterday, and got destroyed for it

The last time I checked the fouls were even. Did it not end up that way? They did start calling Bama for holding but not excessively.

I will be surprised if GU finishes in the top 5 of the big East.

Bama needs to bench Mitchell for a while to get his head straight and stop being a whiner.

STFU Nostradamus. Everybody knows we've struggled shooting. But the guys Grant brought in, were shooters. Cooper, Lacey, and Randolph will all be good shooters from outside. Hopefully they get it together THIS year.

If the guy would just stop fricking crying after every foul or bad play and concentrate on the game, he'd be a force. As it is, he drags the team down almost as much as he helps them. And Green is better than he was, but I still don't think he has a winner's mindset. It's unfortunate that our two best players and upperclassmen are such shitty leaders.

They would call us for holding on one end and then gtown would hook the shite out of us on the other end. It's wasn't the worst I've seen it, but as the home team you'd like a few more calls to go our way

If gtown shoots 3s like they did tonight and gets the production from their big then theyll be pretty good

Seemed like a pretty even called game to me.
Georgetown just played the better game, but Bama looks like a solid team this year.

Games being earlier might help with crowds.

The shooting will come. I remember Gotfired's teams sucking at 3 pt. shooting, etc. and then the elite 8 run happened. Can't expect freshmen to be like Reggie Miller from the get-go.

I'm not too troubled by this loss.

UK and UF have a couple of really solid TR FR that can knock shots down.

Yeah let's bench one of the best players on the team. Might as well bench Green & Releford while we're at it.
