Did you watch Alabama basketball last year? We may not have even made the NIT had he not stepped up his game after that suspension. We sucked arse in the OOC portion of the season. We didn't start winning until the second half of the season.

What was one of the main reasons ppl used against Alabama not making the NCAA tournament last year? Early season losses?

You are either a shooter or not. If you are not shooting in the first 6 or 7 games of the season, I'm sorry, you are just not going to be a shooter. That will not magically happen for those players.
You can have a bad game or two or three, but come on, you are just not going to be a great shooter if things have been consistently bad for this length of time.
It might take a year or two for those players. Look at Kenny Boyton this year. He is kicking arse and taking names, but his first two years he was very streaky.

I think you are missing my point. Green had the same crybaby attitude Mitchell has the first half of last season. We sucked. Grant sat him and made him think about his attitude and how it was affecting the team. When he came back he had a whole new attitude and we started winning.
What I'm saying is that now may be the time to have the same sit down for Mitchell. If he gets his act in gear this early in the season, maybe we won't suffer as badly as we did before Green's sit down which was when those early season losses you are talking about happened.

LSU basketball can't cause a meltdown only a limited number of people care in our fanbase. I wish we could meltdown because if more people gave a frick the muppet would have been fired by now.

I honestly agree. Our D is smothering. And our hands fly around in passing lanes like no team I have watched in a long time. Other teams hate playing us because they know they are going to have a physical game for 40 minutes.
