SHUT THE frick UP. Flame an Auburn or LSU thread. Not your own god damn team.

Lacey's got confidence. He was looking for his shot the whole time. Even after the first few didn't go down. Randolph and Cooper I'm a bit more worried about.
I think Cooper and Randolph are just having a difficult time adjusting to not being the go to guy on a team. I hope that's all it is at least. Cooper has a good shot. He just needs to trust it more. He's guiding the ball instead of just catching and shooting in one fluid motion. Randolph can get to the basket and create his own shot when he tries to. I just wish he would try to more often. Especially when teams throw a zone at us.

Have you seen Alabama's schedule? We haven't even played close to a ranked team.
In that case LSU basketball is number 2 since we beat Bama in Football.

Noway in hell Alabama is the 12th ranked team in the country.
No way !!
Well you aren't now, so I guess you are right.

I'm not glad we lost but I'd rather suffer a loss now than one down the season to a team like this.
This should humble the players and show them that it's a 30 minute game, not 15.
Mitchell needs to stop being a biyatch and man the frick up. At least shake hands before you go storming into the locker room.
Alabama still should have won the game though.
Three point shooting must improve though.....MUST

I don't really care if he starts. Its all about minutes and he'll get them.
I just looked up the boxscore and he had 27 (9 more than Cooper). I thought it was more actually. Seemed like he was in the whole second half.
I do worry about the upperclassmen leadership a bit. But I trust Jamychal a bit more every game. Except for the excessive fouling. And body language or not, Tony was big in the second half. He was the key really. Kept us in the game and made some huge shots late.
The one thing that hasn't been discussed at all is Releford's looseness with the ball this year. Some bad turnovers. Very surprised by that really.

Releford hasn't played very well. That's why he's been sitting for longer stretches then he ever did last year and that's not just because of Lacey.

You should actually watch a basketball game before posting!

He hasn't been as aggressive this year. We need more guys driving to the basket in general. Too much passing around the top of the key right now.

Yep. Drive and get fouled like what teams do to us.

I think he did alright. All that passing didn't look as effective because GTown was in zone about the whole game. It would have look better if they went man, but if Alabama can't knock down 3's, expect to see a lot more zone.

Because of this loss, I relinquish the duty of starting the gameday thread. I had a good run but my luck has run out. I nominate Santa, Crede, Kaptin, or BhamBama to do it. Let's hope we have a longer streak under one of you

When he's been aggressive he's had a tendency to be overly aggressive, and turnovers ensue.
Dayton's a bit of an odd team just taking a quick look on ESPN. 16 point win over Minnesota and a win over Wake Forest but a loss to Miami-Ohio and they just got fricking shellacked by Buffalo at home, 84-55.

Hell no. You are the man with the threads sir. Keep it up. You keep us excited for Roll Tide basketball.
Plus, you keep me reminded of when we are playing because I stay so busy I never remember until I see your thread.

Sounds like a young team just from this synopsis and not actually looking at their roster.

I was like 0-11 during the shitty first year Grant, Mikhail Torrance (hope he's doing ok) year, so yes I think I should help us to our second straight loss.

Well I stepped down but if I need to be immediately reappointed, so be it. I guess we can vote

It feels good to back. Let's get our minds right and do work against Dayton

I vote you stay, but you do go to most games, so a score update in the op helps.
I am just getting back home from the game. Did we lose on tv , too?
