Just looking over my Lotto tickets I bought in Georgia, trying to figure out how many future brilliant UGA students I am supporting.

Clemson

1 year more recent than us and had a blatant, known cheater as head coach. In fact, the NEXT year they were placed on 2 years probation. I'm sure that didn't have anythign to do with winning a title though lol. Both schools have 1 title since 1980.
LINK

Auburn

led by a player who was offered cash to attend another school...I'm sure he turned them down to attend au for free though out of the goodness of his heart. And man where did cecil find the money for all those renovations shortly after!? Lord works in mysterious ways I suppose. AU also went 53 years between titles. Us and them have 1 title in the last 50 years.

quote:

Alabama,

top 2 program in CFB history. Not really concerned that they win titles

quote:

Tennessee

Their last real title before that was 1951. They went 47 years between. Both schools have 1 title in the last 50 years.

quote:

Georgia Tech,

It was a split title, and they went 40 yeras between them.

quote:

Florida

not really concerned, they were an elite national powerhouse. There are a ton of schools who haven't won 3 national titles in the last 20 years.

quote:

Florida State

along with nebraska were the elite team of the 90s. Don't really care they did more than us.

Actually, when you look at the above, 35 years between titles isn't near as bad as the droughts that tennessee, au, tech, clemson (1 ever), even Texas and OSU have gone through.

Think about this and post it on a map. Since UGAs last NC, the eight closest Major DI Schools to the Athens Campus, seven of them have won NCs. They include Clemson, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Florida and Florida State. That just leaves USC as the only one left. Now lets talk about underachieving.

There he is, and back on script. Welcome Irons!

what starts?

I see you're not used to engaging in good natured discussion with other adults, so I'll tell you how the process typically works.

-Someone (me) will make a point or express a thought (the OP)
-Someone with a dissenting opinion will refute that point with a counter argument (your post)
-First person will then make counterpoints to that (my post). And typically this process will continue.

Not sure why your "bullshitometer" is going off, since I responded with nothing but pure, actual facts in response to your post. But, I guess I should expect nothing less coming from you.

I'm really worried about phan. Either he stroked out, left the basement for work (most unlikely), was abducted by a UFO, or he's running around the n-hood in cold sweats trying to prove to us he doesn't have to reply, 38 times, to every UGA thread.

1) I guess you took the 2005 thing to heart, considering you're using old recycled memes from that same time period

2) Little bro? LOL. The series history is tied, we have the same number of national titles, but we have 4 more SEC titles.

he made a post abotu bama this morning at about 6:30am central time. He probably set his TD alarm, scanned for UGA/bama threads, posted, then went back to bed. It is summer break after all and school is out.
