You are dumb as a post.

The Oregon 196 million came LAST FISCAL YEAR and was largely because of a single 90 million donation from Phil Knight. It was an aberration.

You keep saying these numbers are made up. You know these are the numbers the schools have reported to the federal government?

All of this is more recent info that you apparently missed in your head-up-your-arse world.

Texas fans had the revenue thing thrown in our face mercilessly by aggies. They all claimed they'd zoom past TEXAS by now, you know, being the only Texas school in the SEC, by God, blah blah blah.

Then reality hit, like it always does for aggies. TEXAS makes almost twice as much money as aggie in sports. That's a hole that even your vaunted SEC Network payment and other grant-in-aid supplied off the backs of winning programs will muster. You know, those not named Texas A&M.

Poooooooooooooooooor aggies.

Not that you deserve a rational reply, but here goes.

Texas spreads that money around to other sports, especially women's sports, to comply with federal government Title IX regulations. That's the whole point of this report, to ensure compliance with that very thing.

Those other sports thrive, too. The women's volleyball team played for the national championship the other night.

Are you aggies not complying with the rules again? You poor things.

P.S.: I also noticed that TEXAS makes about three times as much revenue in football as the aggies. Nobody cares about the dead dogs and the fake military shite except brainwashed vulnerable kids who had to listen to daddy spout that shite since day 1.

Meeeshegan is in the B1G though.

Still, the SEC dominates.

10 SEC
5 B1G
2 Big 12
1 ACC
1 PAC 12
1 Independent

So what you're telling me is that Texas does in fact have more money than Alabama.

Duly noted.

Oregon not even listed. USA Today Finances has Oregon #1 at $196 million.

USA Today has not published a FY2015 report, because expenditures have not been released yet.

Maybe because Oregon the highest revenue AD at $196 million is not even listed

That was the previous year because of one gigantic donation from Phil Knight. They're back in their place now..... just like Aggy.

Yeah, there's no such thing as "profits" when it comes to athletic departments.

Profits for what exactly? The dividends you pay your shareholders? The smaller the "profits" for athletic departments, the better.

This just tells me Texas invests more in athletics than A&M does.

It's profits purely from a Revenue minus Expenses standpoint. You really don't want anything left over.

If you've paid your staff, invested in facilities and scholarships, you don't want anything left over.
You want to maximize every cent in revenue and reinvest it back to athletics.

Profit is a stupid word to throw around for an athletic department, especially for a tax exempt entity.

So you're not allowed to put your profits back into athletics?

If you have a business degree, you completely failed to understand some of the basic salient points.

You don't want an excess of cash (because of inflation) or inventory (because of of depreciation).

However, not having an excess doesn't mean having ZERO.

New investments come AFTER profits, not before.
