Dooley is the worst coach I've ever seen. He allowed us to come back and win the 2012 Tennessee - Mizzou game. I remember watching that game and being like "Oh shite! Tennessee returned the ball to the 40 yard line with 40 seconds left. They're just going to do a few pass plays and kick a field goal to win it!" then next thing I know, he knees the ball to take the game in OT and we would eventually win. What an idiot. He could have beat us right then and there. All he had to do was pull the trigger. Thanks, Dooley! 3-1!
ETA: And it was a high scoring game. It just didn't make any sense.

He's the only guy I'm aware of who's ever gotten fired from a CFB job after 1 year.
I'll concede that 3-10 is debatable. But any list that doesn't have Ellis Johnson and Darell Hazell as the 2 worst hires is shite.

Ole Miss actually has three of them.
1. Ed Orgeron
2. Houston Nutt
3. Hugh Freeze

Mike Price scoffs at such longevity.

Nutt at least had 2 good years at Ole Miss before things fell apart in years 3 and 4.
And how can you argue Hugh Freeze is a bad hire?
I'm wondering if Bielma will prove himself worthy of inclusion on the worst hires list in the next year or 2.........

Gill is another good candidate. Kiffin was bad at USC but not bad quite like these people were.

Dooley was bad at every facet of coaching. One year he didn't recruit one offensive lineman, he alienated past players, and his coaching was on a middle school level.

What about Bret Bielma? He's lasted 4 years to Smith's 1 year.
More time to do damage.

Nutt?
Why out Muschamp at SC before a game has been played? That seems very butt hurt of you.
