Not for me to say, but being a Christian, I am assured that I will. I hope you will too.

Will Christians go to Heaven if it doesn't exist?

The burning question (no pun intended) is 'who goes to hell' if it does exist?

The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world he didn't exist...

How is this even a serious question? If you're presuming that Heaven exists, then why would an athiest or agnostic possibly go there?

Are you dumb?

baby Jesus isn't the version you need on your side. You need the one who volunteered to be tortured and executed by the very people he was trying to help.

Are you as miserable today as your OP makes you sound?

I hope not.

What about people who are religious of a different faith but never were taught Christianity

The most fricked up thing about Christianity. You can be the nicest fricking person ever. Never wronged anyone, never lied, never sought power or money. Just lived life to help others and be a good person. But if you don't believe, you go to hell.

Almost sounds like a pretty convenient scare tactic, doesn't it?

From what I understand people who grew up with different faiths are given a chance to repent at the gates of heaven.

Most people that consider themselves Christian, won't end up in heaven IMHO.

Incorrect.

And seeking power/money aren't un-Christian, just fyi

Actually, one of the most telling things that Jesus said, about what his teachings meant was this: Live like the sparrow in the field, just know that your needs will be provided.
Almost none of us is willing to go that far.

He was using that story as a metaphor for faith. Same as when he said it's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. He's illustrating that when folks allow worldly trappings to supersede their faith, they're trusting in the wrong thing for their salvation.

He did not say that one has to become destitute to be a believer. Only that it's easier (which is kind of a "duh," since you literally have nothing else but faith to lean on in such a state ). Somehow many folks (Christians and atheists alike) have misinterpreted this as God commanding Christians to forsake any/all earthly pleasures, when that's not the case.

Bottom line: money is not the root of all evil, the LOVE of money is.

I know a couple of families who do this, and they're honestly some of the happiest people I know. Truly living in faith is difficult for many, but does seem to work wonderfully for those who do.
