I made 2 troll threads and the board blew up. I figured there was enough religious diversity on here for it to really rustled someone's jimmies.

Apparently it rustled everyone's.

It's just funny bc the ppl that get the most riled up are the ones that are the most insecure in their beliefs, so it's hilarious to watch them throw a shite fit when they're questioned.

What's funny is the people who are doing the questioning throwing the "shite fits." Why do you care how or what people believe? As I stated earlier to someone else, no one is trying to "save your soul" because no one gives 2 fricks. Why are you so threatened by what others believe? You aren't going to change anyone's minds, yet you continue on with your "arguments" that no one is listening to. Get over yourself, precious.

According to the bible only those pure and clean do. I personally dont believe that but it doesn't mean im not christian.

In short nobody knows, but there is only one creator no matter religion or other. Even if you think the big bang created everything. Something had to create what caused the big bang. You cant grow people from a pouch and a tank of water

Don't worry about it.

You're not as rich as you think you are.

Really? Because Christ actively shunned both.

The greatest trick the church ever played was convincing the world if they didn't do what the church said (and give their money too) they would go to this mythical place called hell....

Correct. When Christ said it's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of god, he wasn't speaking in metaphors that are up for interpretation. It's a direct comparison.

Jesus taught that you should give all your money and belongings to the poor until you only have enough to survive. So if a person is rich then they're obviously not doing that. Meaning they can't go to heaven.

The idea that one religion is better than another is arrogant.

Not for me to say, but being a Christian, I am assured that I will. I hope you will too.

Look I'm not saying you're not going, but this line of "being a Christian and assured that I will" is basically saying that even a serial killer, one that killed 10+ people for the enjoyment of seeing others suffer, could accept Christ and go to Heaven. Again for all I know you could be a Saint, but just being Christian likely isn't the standard rule of thumb for heaven.

24Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” 25When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” 26But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible

most Christians I know aren't even Christ like

in fact, I'm pretty sure they'd cheer when Jesus came back to Earth, was tazered and arrested
