To do what? Auburn already has a d line coach in garner and it's not like they can promote garner to dc now.

Gentry said that, according to his sources, he'd be shocked if Rocker left UGA right now.

RG makes $660,000/yr. It'd cost AU $1.98 million to fire RG plus another $300,000 to buy out the last year of Rockers UGA contract....THEN prolly have to pay Rocker $700,000/yr in salary.....Thats a lotta money to bring TR "home"...

There's nothing to this right now. Just speculation based on him being an AU alum. My guess is Muschamp will want to bring in guys he's coached with before.

Sheeeeeittt. That's also with them paying Ellis' huge buyout and paying Muschamp 1.7M.

What do our cheap asses pay Rocker?

three fiddy I think...

I'm guessing CMR gets some more money for his assistants this off-season. CSU making overtures to Bobo should be a good thing for UGA asst. coaches this year...

Hopefully but outside of this site I haven't seen much about Bobo and CSU. I feel like this is his agent putting out some smoke and I hey, that's his job and he should get a raise along with some other guys.

But everything I have seen is Scott Frost to CSU

Rivals, Scout, 247, and a couple of lower-level ESPN guys are talking about it. I mean, outside of the UGA and CSU beat writers, no one in the national media really gives a frick who CSU hires or if UGA loses an assistant coach.

That makes sense. I guess I haven't looked hard enough. Not to say Bobo would be a bad hire. I just hadn't seen anything outside of here.

I don't think he leaves for a couple reasons:

1.) I think he knows if he bides his time for 4-5 more years, he'll be the next HC at UGA.

2.) CSU isn't exactly an easy place at which to win.

3.) Location-wise, it doesn't make much sense. Bobo is an ace recruiter in South Georgia mainly due to his ties and relationships in the area. He's not going to convince many small-town Georgia boys to pack up and move to Colorado to play football in The Mountain West.

Give him a raise (he deserves it) and keep him home for the next few years. I've accepted the fact that he's the de facto HCIW.

I agree with all of that except I bitterly fight the feeling that he'll be our HC. He will, but I will still fight it till the day it happens.

Unfortunately, I agree. I like Bobo as an OC most of the time. He's had excellent talent/skilled players to work with. But something about him being a HC just scares the absolute shite out of me.

Maybe he'll be like Bud Foster at VT and just remain a .... OC forever.
