Hale has regressed this year. Cooper's been better, but is still extremely inconsistent and was completely disengaged against Wichita State.

This team is very talented. Grant IS a good recruiter. He's just a poor coach and a bad leader.

Again, this team is not very talented. I just don't see it. I don't see one NBA player on this team. Maybe 1-2 guys could be fringe prospects like Levi Randolph but saying this team is really talented is just false.

NBA talent and college talent are different things.

Trevor Lacey is NC State's best play right now. Devonta Pollard is averaging 15 & 8. It's not that Grant can't recruit talent, it's that he can't develop it.

I can't believe anybody questions Grant's recruiting abilities. That's certainly not his problem.

BTW Kentucky is up 28-2 on UCLA. UCLA is a game we should absolutely win. But you know, Grant and all. We'll see.

Never underestimate Anthony Grant's ability to blow a game like the UCLA one next week. Never.

Yep, if you go by recruiting rankings I'd bet we're one of the best stocked teams in the SEC. The only reason anyone can look at the product on the floor and conclude the issue is talent is because the talent-laden classes that CAG has brought in haven't been developed.

Basically he brings in top 25 classes and generally coaches them down to a 60+ rpi team

Auburn is about to beat Xavier......AUBURN.

Just have to laugh at this point, even though I want to cry.

Auburn also has some brutal losses. Can't just judge one game. Although there's zero doubt that their coach is a million times more capable than ours.

Bruce Pearl just called a timeout to set up the go ahead shot. That's weird. I didn't know you were allowed to do that.

You don't think it's hard getting top-notch Alabama talent to stay in state for basketball? That's about all we need to know about your thoughts.
