I thought it was strange how many old SWC foes played this year. I figured we'd check out the standings.

SWC Standings haven't been this crazy since 1994, when due to our NCAA violations, we weren't allowed to claim a conference championship. As a result, Texas, Texas Tech, Rice, Baylor, & TCU all were co-conference champions.
A 5-6 overall Rice Owl team was co-champion. Let that sink in.

Can you really claim part of the CC if you only played one game?
I think it's more BU/A&M co champs. Which is basically the same result as the B12.
