The bad part is none of you Bama fans can even see past anything but it being about Bama and feel the need to automatically defend it as something good. You can't even admit how crooked it is because it's involves the Bama BOT.

Baby bear is a very powerful person, he make Lowder look like an amateur.
Bama made a decision to grow to 50,000 students, they have built like crazy.
Baby bear stays behind the scenes like a mafia boss, he is effective, ruthless and every school could use someone like him.
Clearly the head of Alabama, Baby Bear wanted the program to die at UAB.
How do Bama fans not see that?

I have no idea or interest in the disposition of UAB athletics. I think it's very unfortunate for the players, coaches and staff that are involved. I'm sure the people that made a very tough decision did so with more information than message board peanut gallery. My response was to the repulsive analogy of a serial rapist of young boys who used his position to destroy many lives to that of a trustee whom I'm guessing the poster doesn't know from Adam. It's shamefully disgusting.

The only thing I'm defending is that the comment is disgusting. I've stated that I have no idea re: UAB athletics or politics.
