I'm judging that by the bids I see on eBay. I've always been able to at least recoup my purchase price... this year it's looking iffy.

Some years have been pretty profitable, in fact... so I won't be too sad over this.

I think bama fans will travel reasonably well... with that said, market prices were well over $100 a ticket for LSU, MSU, and Auburn and will be for SECCG, too.. and then potentially a playoff and championship game.. It's getting crazy..

I keep wanting to buy them to give to my dad as a gift in case we make it, but am terrified that the year I buy them it will be a three loss Arky team vs. a two loss Vandy team.

Some bama fan from Birmingham bought my two in the Mezzanine for $600 each. But that was the day after bama beat State. I guess he thought UGA was gonna fight the bama fans for tickets. LOL.

Yeah... looks like he overpaid. Good for you, though.

this. With the new playoff format with two neutral site games, the sec champion would have three in about a month. Prices are going to be insane as well. The average fan will be priced out before too long.

You are going to donate your profit to the needy right?

If all the anti-Bammers would buy tickets, the price would approach Super Bowl levels.

Fans that think their team will win the SECCG and then make it to playoffs will wonder if they want to blow it out for the SECCG. Potentially two more big games in a month. This could reduce SECCG tickets.

I don't like the setup for playoff games. Move them to campus!

Auburn fans took up a majority of the stadium last year. With this being Mizzou's 2nd year in a row, I would guess they buy even less tickets.

Missouri was selling their remaining allotment of tickets for face value to the general public on their website today.

They appeared to have maybe 30% of the crowd last year and I expect less this year.

This is not true. I go to Mizzou and the student tickets were sold out from the time I left the Arkansas game and got to my car 4 blocks away. They issued more, and then those sold out in 30 minutes. Im just saying, that shows something.

Also, no one remembers the ice storm a few days before last year's SECCG. So many highways were shut down from Missouri south or east bound. It forced a ton of Mizzou fans to sell their tickets to Auburn fans.

Well there's no denying that Alabama has a huge geographic edge when it comes to getting to the game. We'll see come Saturday.

The one thing you can say for the Missouri fans that do go for the 2nd year in a row they are the true fans.

The game should be moved to Nashville, it's not like UT will ever get there and have home field.
