We've pussyfooted around the entire second half of the season. His playcalling sucks dick. My fricking dog's bowel movements are more unpredictable than Dan Mullen's offense.

The offense also didn't help us out by scoring when we should have.

I bet if every player had fully executed on every play called State would have won. They didn't and there is plenty of blame to go around if that's what you want to do after a tough loss. And just out for arguments sake who would you prefer to be coaching ?

There are some serious questions on the defensive side of the football that I hope Mullen finds answers to by next season.
I don't care if it takes a coaching change. A performance like that has to have a negative effect on recruits looking to come to MSU.
As for Mullen, the offensive playcalling was atrocious. It was clear Ole Miss was going to stop the run as early as the second quarter, but we kept pounding the football. The only time the run game started to open up would be when we would open up the passing game.
Also, Dak's progress as a QB is seriously worrying to me. When running, he looks incredibly slow and doesn't appear to be the least bit elusive. He's not showing the same toughness that he showed earlier in the season.
His passing is awful. He was throwing to wide open receivers just 10 yards down field as if they were 10 feet tall.
When he wasn't able to run the ball, he did not look comfortable as a passer at all. Bo Wallace stole that show.

Ole Miss put up over 500 yards of total offense. something like 300 of those yards came on 6 plays.
As for Dak, he's going to have to develop as a passer. In every game where the run game has been taken away, Dak has looked awful.

I said it after we lost to Arkansas. It's one damn game and nobody on your staff has done anything that warrants them being fired. Especially Collins. Y'all will be fine.
Having said that tonight was on the coaches though. Your team came out flat while the other team was hyped up and ready to play. Mullen was way too conservative with the playcalling and didn't really gameplan to take away our strengths on defense.

I think I would actually like State a whole lot more if Mullen's was not so arrogant. I also really didn't like what he had to say about the D tonight. He completely threw them under a Mack truck after the game.
