As reported in the Post-Dispatch this am, the following is a quote from Kentucky's QB Patrick Towles after yesterday's game:
"Missouri's defense is better, the secondary is better, than Mississippi State"
Mizzou's offense still has a ways to go, but Mizzou's D can potentially carry them to the SECCG.

I believe it. We couldn't do anything. MU did a great job of keeping Towles from being able to scramble for first downs.

Dude, you are playing in the shittastic East....potentially every team in the West is better than you.....edit......Texas A&M is now hot garbage.....so you are roughly 7th in the SEC....currently....IF you win the East....congrats.

Personally, I think simply being in the discussion to win the East this late in a down year for our team is a wonderful thing.
Coming into the season I thought we'd finish third and go to a minor bowl.
Whatever else anybody thinks, this is a good thing for Missouri fans.

West is good, but their fans are delusional. Will be sweet when the east wins SECG. Mentality is very important. Move on after wins and losses...next game is all that matters!
Yes, Virginia, Mizzou does have champion contender defense, along with MPD offense to date. O needs to just keep getting better. Crazy how last year offense took us to SECG and this year defense pulling the wagon. More work to be done, not there yet.
