Mike Leach is laughable...do some of you actually understand football? We do NOT want a coach who wants to throw the ball 60 times a game. Why? So we can lose games 64-41?
You CANT have a great defense with that kind of offense...it doesn't compute nimrods. Your defense will be on the field too many times.

Forget pass happy. Give me solid sound defense and offense. Simple. We have half the equation now...just need offense to spark and Im hoping Treon is the one missing link. But its unfair to put it all on the shoulders of a true frosh.

Ok....nimrods is not a deflammation of character last I checked. Just trying to make a point that coaching names amaze me that some come up with.

If we do change HC...then it will probably be a surprise who the AD selects.

Because Leach has never had a defense. I'm all about offense, but you need a run game and some defense to win in the SEC.

Freeze would still be a solid hire. If you watch the replay of that specific play, the inside WR was running an angle route to the sideline trying to pick up 4-5 extra yards. That ball was supposed to come out quick to him or be thrown directly out of bounds. Bo Wallace went full moronthat one decision summed up his entire performance last night, piss poor.

Just don't think Freeze will leave the comfort of home and then go to a school where crazed fans will bring out pitchforks and torches as soon as you lose a game. He can coast at Ole Miss.

It would be fun to see him recruit in Fla though.

I don't think Freeze leaves either. Was just pointing out that last play wasn't really his fault. Your veteran QB needs to make the right play there.

Bo Wallace is essentially a slightly better version of Jeff Driskel.

Unless you offer $500,000,000 and his own church he isn't leaving.

I really want to poach Holgo or Rich Rod.

No. Unless you want absolutely zero defense.

I agree on Rich Rod. His D scares me a bit, the 3-3-5, but love his O.

We run a 4-2-5 now which is pretty much a hybrid of the 3-3-5 defense. 3-3-5 was pretty much created to stop spread teams which we will see a lot of heading into the future.

One guy that could rebuild us very quick is Jim Tressel. Say what you want for him being a Buckeye but the guy knows how to recruit and develop talent. He would kill recruiting in Florida and still has ties up north. His ncaa show cause is up. He's the guy. We can go get him now...

Let me add. How many other coaches are out there that...

1 have won a national title
2 coached up dozens of guys into the NFL
3 coached for a top level pressure cooker program
4 excels at recruiting
5 balanced offense and defense
6 flat out knows how to win games, rarely gets outcoached

Tressel is on Nick Saban type of level. What other coach out there has his pedigree?

Interesting for sure. I don't think the Gator boosters would want him though.

I had totally forgotten about him.

Wonder if he's even looking to they back in though?
