Dabo is a product of oc imo.

Plus he has yet to beat USC. Spurrier rents space in his head 24/7

Gary Danielson just told Vern that Steve Adagio will be a front runner for the job.

are you hearing any names yet, or do you think they will start to surface, after next week?

Reports are Mike Gundy is pursuing the job via second hand contact with Foley. Link below

Interesting, maybe looking for a change in scenery (he is an OK St grad).

I'd be fine with MG

Gundy would be a solid hire imo. Not great, but solid.

Would need to keep a lot of our defensive staff for recruiting purposes.

Names will surface, but there's always so much deception with Foley in the mix. Nobody knew Will Muschamp until an hour before it was announced.

From what I've seen other fans don't want Gundy at Florida, or at least it poses a little bit of fear.

Yeah, I've seen those that do and some that don't want him. I think he would be a solid hire. Not a home run, but one with a good amount of upside and not a terrible floor.

Definitely, and he's been doing a lot with very little. I think he's got a nose for offense and his defenses haven't been that horrible. He definitely knows how to run a program.

I'm pretty sure he'll get the job unless something else happens, and I'd be perfectly content with it.

As a fan of a different SEC school, I think he'd be scary at Florida with the talent available on both sides of the ball.

Whether people want to admit it, the guy is solid, proven head coach. His name was tossed around for our job in 2012, and I wasn't unhappy about it. I love Bert, but we wouldn't have rioted in the streets if it'd have been Gundy.

I listened to long interview on XM radio this afternoon with Gundy & Jack Arute (who loves sniffing jimbos and diddy bowdens nut sacks) and I wasn't that impressed with his demeanor overall.

Lackluster is what I would describe his interview at best. No way in hell could he give the same interview pulse rate with Foley and get hired.

He is an Okla St guy....let him stay there.

A radio interview? Was it live? If so, of course he was lackluster. His team is losing and he is on his 3rd team QB. I would be lackluster as hell on a radio interview as well if I was in his situation.

The one reason I am thinking it won't be him is I doubt Foley would hire someone coming off a losing season.

Per Pat Dooley
Three more names to cross off Gator coaching search -- Brian Kelly, Bobby Stoops, Mike Gundy.
And get off the Chip Kelly bandwagon. He has a "show cause" until Christmas day. Florida is not hiring a coach with NCAA issues in his past.

Live like Memorex

Gee third string qb? Sounds like Muschamp last year.

Again...he may be the most engaging person on earth...my point was that he couldn't possibly have job interview with Foley unless he drank a few bottles of 5 hr energy.

None of the stuff I am hearing is even close to a match for UF....except one and that is Hugh Freeze and I don't think he will relocate his family and give up all his ties to come to UF. Im not sure of his coaching ability but he damn sure can recruit. Ole Miss just needed more depth in quality numbers and they could be on the doorstep of the playoff.

At least I know Gundy is a man, so he's got that going for him at least
