Lol, pretty much.

Please explain how Allen is good enough.

Sure, turn on the replay of the game and watch the 2nd half. Amazing what he looks like when he gets time in the pocket. 28/45 300 yards 3 TD's should be enough for Arkansas to win about every game on their schedule most years.

Unfortunately the defense gave up 38 points and Collins fumbled away another 7.

The OL got abused again today, and the defense looked as bad as it's looked since A&M 2nd half. Especially up front. Poor tackling, no penetration, you name it. Kirkland had his worst game as a Razorback, too.

Allen isn't the problem

1) His mechanics are crap

2) He doesn't go through his progressions

3) He routinely overthrows open receivers even when he is not pressured

4) Doesn't seem to be able to hit a receiver in stride and receivers have to adjust to the pass which kills yards after catch

5) throws a flat under thrown deep ball that is almost impossible for a receiver to adjust to.

6) When pressured tends to run deeper inort backfield giving up huge chunks of yards during sacks that kills drives.

7) Ball tends to float which give defenses time to react to the pass.

2nd half Georgia relaxed and the pressure was off and Allen played good, but when the game is tight he plays tight.

The problem is he doesn't play like he did in the 2nd half when the game is tight. He is two different Qbs when the game has gotten away from us and when the game is close.

Not really.

2) He doesn't go through his progressions

That's dependent on time in the pocket by your OL.

Not really, UGA backed off in the 2nd half and he completed 70% of his passes and drove down the field on his arm for multiple TD's.

He's inconsistent, WR's don't get that open either, we lack talent and experience at WR playing mediocre upperclassmen or not ready true freshmen. It's why KJ Hill will be starting game 1 as a true frosh and the best WR on campus the day he steps on campus. Sad in a way, but true.

Ehhhh, his deep ball is usually pretty good, we just don't throw deep often at all. Was it the A&M game that we threw 2 perfect deep balls and they were dropped? In order to throw deep you have to have WR's which we don't. We throw short and middle of the field crossing routes, that's our offense. Doesn't really have much to do with Allen, but the personnel around him.

He actually does a great job of just getting rid of the football. But being under so much pressure all the time is on the OL not the QB. He has to get outside the pocket and throw it away or try and make something happen, or take a sack. He's not a mobile QB, that's like saying Peyton Manning sucks when he gets flushed out of the pocket, no shite? Good thing for Manning that his OL keeps him from even being TOUCHED in most games.

Again, pressure as in the game was not close anymore and already lost.

If you can't see Allen is not the guy that will be able to lead this team to any success then there is no reason discussing it with you.

Kirkland has graded out at about a D- for pass protection today. Actually did he bench Kirkland? I don't see him out there this drive.

FWIW, Kirkland got absolutely pwned on that first blocked PAT, allowing penetration and ultimately the block.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot it was him that got abused there too. Explains why he got benched in the 4th after getting abused by Jenkins the UGA LB twice in a row on a single move.

Our OL has a long ways to go.

When did Kirkland get benched?

Skipper got benched for two series and Kirkland moved out to LT and Charp came in at G. However Kirkland slid back inside when Skipper came back in.

Bielema said they pulled skip because he was hobbling around on one leg and getting murdered, but I never saw them bench Kirkland.

He also said he ripped a lot of arse right before halftime for their piss poor attitude.

Hug and kiss those you love. A 19 or 20 year old was killed in an accident on i40 coming home from the game. RIP Joe.

BA is not as bad as people say, but with that being said, he is still not as good as others say, especially when the d line is in his face all fricking day. I blame our offensive woes yesterday on o line and chaney, with a few bad ones to BA. Depth will help a lot. Who do we go after if we rid ourselves of chaney?

No clue, but anyone would be an upgrade at this point over Chaney.

And our OL is just young, I don't worry about them run blocking or pass protecting the next few years. Not there yet this year though and the last 2 weeks proved that.

Yeah, Skipper was getting destroyed all game long by 84. He was a liability in pass protection from the get-go.

I move that we call these threads the weekly show your arse thread. This is what a lot of us do anyway so let's call a spade a spade. Most of us called 5 and 7 and that's where were headed so what's the big damn deal?

It's not that we're continuing to lose, it's HOW we lose.

I don't disagree but we kind of knew the troubles with our team we knew where our weeknesses were and they are being exposed after half the season. It's frusterating but the old idiom stands true... wait till next year. Of course if next year is the same, I'll be showing my arse too.

I think you're being dense if you watch our team play and fail to find areas where they can improve the current players. I'll start with offensive playcalling. That's on Jim Chaney. We can fix that as long as we don't sit back and make excuses for him. He's steered SEC offenses to something like 5 wins in 40 tries between Arkansas and Tennessee. He's a loser.
