I thought the vent thread went well last week. There were a lot of pissed off people and that is understandable but it didnt feel like the bosrd was trying to murder each other.
Remember, you can be as mad as you want to be everybody can S your D if they have a problem with it.

I have a vent / question. Is it me or does Chaney seem to avoid calling pass plays over the middle of the field? It seems like Derby and Henry would be a nightmare match up for LBs over the middle.

I'm guessing the routes are there but they are covered or BA likes to throw throw to the outside.

Might as well get it in early

I have felt the same way....but I'd like to see All 22 game film before calling Chaney out too much. Talked with several people at the game last week that said receivers were open, especially the middle, BA just couldn't find them.
Still it does seem like our TE always run out routes or at least thats the only time they are targeted.

Don't forget about the concrete wall two feet from the corner of the end zone. Also frick the person that took my handle and used it on all the email sites. I will find you and end your tomfoolery, horsedickery, and all around general frickbuggery.

Chaney's still the QB coach. He's either neglecting a huge part of the field in the passing game, or he's failing to improve QB play.

I was coming in to post this. Very often youll see allen want to make a throw, but hesitate. For all i know, he might be a little too conservative or the play just really isnt there. Hard to tell from the tv broadcast.
Either way, im happy his ints are waaay down.

Well in the opposing defenses defense, you can't catch a ball thats thrown 10ft over your head.

I noticed at Tennessee that Chaney loves the sideline passes whether it's the out or the deep seam. Last year we seemed to throw into the middle more often when Hunter was healthy. This year we have had success throwing down the middle the few times we have tried it. I didnt notice us running routes in the middle of the field too much against Bama but I also wasn't fixated on it. It's definitely something I'll watch for during the Georgia game. I'm not ready to run Chaney out of town but I dont like him much, but if we continue to improve offensively every year I'll get the frick over it.

Players will have the option to wear some pink this weekend to help bring awareness to breast cancer #BeatCancer

They want to make sure that some members of our coaching staff receive the support they need.

preemptive: Run the ball damn it! They might have 30 in the box but run it damn it.

I'm sorry, but are we not, as a society, sufficiently aware of breast cancer yet? How about some prostate cancer awareness brown stuff? Maybe some black colon garb? Heart disease red?

Two reasons that I can think of:
1) we run tight formations and run alot between the tackles so the middle of the field is covered up whereas the outside is open
2) When your QB has a tendency to throw high it is very dangerous to throw over the middle.

I have said this for the last 5 weeks. Get Henson the hell off of all FG teams. Dude kicks it flatter than a pancake.
