Not sure if this has been discussed but why has this chant gotten so fast. Wouldn't be a bad idea to put this on the jumbotron. Link

It's been bad in the past but this year the students are about 3 seconds ahead of everyone

It was egregious during the A&M game . Like the fricking students were in a race to see who could say this the fastest. And it's always THE frickING STUDENTS THAT frick IT UP. it's like no one has any sense of tempo that us under 30 years old.
I think the students do this to frick it up. Take the LSU TD song. 90,000 people in Tiger Stadium can chant in perfect unison T-I-G-E-R-S when the cadence doesn't follow the tempo of the song, especially the E-R-S part.
Do the students hate doing this chant so they sabotage it every time?

It goes fast because on kickoff you have to do it that fast or it will last awkwardly after the play is dead. That speed carries over to other times they play it. At least, this is my theory.
