Pinkel built something out of ashes. We moved to the only conference capable of giving us a national profile. His reward is staying on until he's ready to leave. If we're lucky, maybe he actually steals one. I doubt it, but maybe.

And as 808 pointed out in another thread, Mizzou has the right man in charge at the top in Chancellor Loftin. He cleaned house in Aggieland and set them up, and will do so here when the time right.

I'm just biding my time and enjoying the ride and growth of players like Maty Mauk.

In a weird way it is still possible we could compete for the East. I kind of doubt it, but Georgia and USC haven't looked even close to flawless, so as of now it's possible that we can do this thing. East champ could definitely have two losses. It's going to be a messy battle.

But if I had to bet money I'd say it's going to be hard for us to beat anyone but Vandy, and even that won't be a gimmie.

OL is bad. This we know. Britt was a huge loss.

Mauk is shaky. He makes bad decisions. He's a mid major phenom, a big time power 5 QB he is not.

We have no big play threat at WR, and we refuse to play some of the more talented young players in favor of guys like Leftwitch.

The bottom line -- this team has to get out to a lead to win games, and that's a dangerous way to play.

We have to have separation in the score to force other teams to throw the ball, allowing for our pass rush to be effective.

I can't even explain how in control and unrattled I feel on this site. I enjoy playing the character I play on the OT, it's fun.

It's kind of like how the dominant businessman likes to pay to submit to a dominant mistress hooker, he's tired of dominating and wants to submit everything in that moment. I'm very earthy, mellow, rational, calculated, polite ect in real life. I enjoy being sharp and direct, critical and rude (but always for a purpose). I think it has started to resonate. In the 'who's the most hated' thread I had multiple people comment about me in positive ways, not really much of anything negative.

Mizzou didn't lose anything on Saturday. If this team runs the table it would still be in the playoff, that's just a fact, if you win the SECCG with 1 loss, no matter who it was to, you will be in the playoff.

Will that happen?

Saturday should be a good game, I expect the team to be fired up and ready to go. I don't think you can judge this defense without Golden in the game, he's the best player on the field.
