Hot on the heels of their announcement that they would stop doing that:

If you recall, at that announcement saying it wasn't going to happen anymore it was noted that the immediate future is beyond Mizzou's control because so few teams out there to schedule for next year.

To be fair, UConn probably should be Power 5 and would be Power 5 if the Big 12 would have done the right thing and taken Louisville over TCU.

Our schedule was fricked because of the conference jump. We're still looking for another school to play next season.

Absolutely no excuse to travel to a non Power 6 school. None

I feel you. If they had AAU they would be B1G, if the Big 12 wasn't alcoholics they would be ACC.

How many times do Mizzou fans have to tell you this... Our schedule is really messed up from the conference switch. We may have to play 2 FCS schools next year. It is out of the school's control right now.

Mizzou isn't really in the lauded SEC, so this shouldn't affect you whatsoever.

We were really trying to get one of the directional schools but they shut us down.

Did you read the article. It explains why Mizzou had to do it. Plus they already have a power 5 school in Purdue scheduled. Doubt if they schedule 2 power 5 non conference schools in the same year. Hell most top 10 programs don't even do that so I wouldn't expect Mizzou to have Purdue and another power 5 school in the same year with the SEC schedule.
