No Rocky Top in Norman

While I know some of you will be glad to hear that there will be no Boomer Top, This makes me mad as hell. I understand why they skipped Autzen - it's a small stadium and even the traveling Pride takes up a lot of room but OU has the room. There's no excuse for the this and given that Dave Hart was behind the decision at Oregon - I'm going to go ahead and say frick YOU HART. But before ranters think this is a UT problem - it's not. ADs across the SEC and nation are actively trying to get rid of the band so they can get an extra penny.
I remember watching the Oregon game and for a UT fan not hearing Rocky Top was noticable - it felt like watching some other school play, actually it felt like one of things I hate most about the pros - the cold corporate nature of what the NFL has become versus the awesomeness of CFB and it's traditions. The sound of the band was missed.
Even OU fans are disappointed by this:

Still annoying enough with just Boomer Sooner.
For the Aggie Band, it costs in upwards of $300,000 - $650,000 to transport the entire band for a game requiring a chartered flight, and that's without bringing the freshmen.

I dislike the NFL'ifcation of college football too.

Pretty sure the full Golden Band only goes to one game away from Tiger Stadium + bowl game. Not sure about when LSU is in the SEC Champ game. The rest of the games they rotate band members out in a small pep band sort of thing.
ETA: I respect visiting teams that bring a full band into Tiger Stadium.
