We need to do what's right, and claim that title. Hang the banner, and put the year next to '57, and '10.

Not sure what to do... Wish the FWA had done the right thing and given us the title when USC vacated.

Travis Williams is trying to reach out and get as much of the 2004 team back to campus as possible. Hope they all get back!

Claiming the 04 title would be....bush league behavior, a desperation move intended only to keep up.
I love that team, but they didn't play for, didn't win, and were never awarded the NC. We'll officially be awarded a few more in the next few years. No need to invoke bama rules.

This is not ayear where the team lost a bowl game or finished 19th...our guys beat every team on the schedule and didnt have to cheat to do so...it is not the same.
None of Bamas "titles" were vacated by another team". SC title was taken form them and its AUs by right.
I dont really give a frick what Bama does but those players deserve to have thier school recognise what they earned.

I'm against claiming 83 (even though we deserved it clearly) and 93 but I would support claiming 1913 and 04.

See I have a better belief we should claim 83. We were No.3 and beat No.2 in the Sugar bowl. No.1 lost. Instead fricking Miami jumps from No.5.
In those days it was ALL political and wire services. No ESPN to watch all the games nationally. We got jobbed. I'd claim that one. We should have anyway.
93 we were on probation. No claiming that one.
