Wins 10+. games and beats FSU with less talent? Will there be acceptance that they still did the right thing? Will Belima become even more hated?

He deserved to be fired, we really didn't have a choice. He's a good coach though and I still enjoy watching his teams.

BMFP ain't no joke.
FTR I wanted him badly as the AU coach also. Obviously I'm quite happy with Gus now and in hindsight, but at the time I was all BMFP.

Petrine is king of X's and O's....there's no doubt....but he put the UofA in a position that could have saw nearly 150 lawsuits and cost us millions. He had to be fired.

I think the overwhelming majority of our fans would have loved to have kept him. We're all aware that he was a top two coach in the SEC. However, it's pretty tough to get around the legal issues of what he did and getting caught in multiple lies during the vetting process. CEO's of Fortune 500 companies get fired for the same thing. Fans can talk all they want about keeping him but their aren't many, if any, BCS schools that would have kept him in that situation.

Right now BP just got onto his player for a personal foul. How can he be the one to teach young men about discipline? If anything, he should be the poster boy of what not to be. He demands perfection from his players and is an arse about it, but the man has no accountability for himself.
