As if Hog Nation cares about BMFP..... it's been 3 seasons since Bobby left and they are in position to bounce back strong in just a few more years.

Only Alabama and Auburn wouldn't have fired Petrino.

bullshite. His actions were fireable anywhere. Don't act like Arkansas did the moral thing by letting him go. His actions went far beyond the AD.

I'm one of those who was in favor of slapping him with a large pay cut and putting him on a short leash, but I'm not Jeff Long and he had his reasons for firing him. And I can't say I blame him.
Long would NEVER hire him back and Petrino is at home in Louisville. He needs to stay put.

On the subject of Leach...I was kinda surprised that WSU lost to Rutgers.

I was shocked as well. The offense for WSU rolled but they couldn't stop Rutgers.

That's absolute garbage. His best team at Arkansas (and one of the best in Arkansas history I might add) got MURDERED by Alabama and LSU that year. He's had great teams, but he's never been able to close the deal and head to the big time, which he was VERY close to in 2007. He's a poor man's Steve Spurrier minus a mulligan, and is terribly overrated.
I hope Jimbo tears that guy a new one. It was fun doing it for 4 years I know that much.
