They returned Chuckie Keeton and no one else
Way too many newcomers for Utah State to be any good
I don't get the overreactions here by Tennessee fans... this was not a quality Utah State team. Last year's team could have done something but they lost too much.

Vol fans will deny it but last year was the same, they thought they would be able to hang with Oregon
They open the year with 2 big wins over AP and WKU and were awfully confident heading into Eugene

Waaaaaat? UT fans are excited about beating Utah State? Seriously? Nothing wrong with being glad you won but excited over beating the third best program in Utah?

Utah St is clearly on a different level than AP and WKU.
The line in Vegas was about Vols -6.5 I believe, so I think its fair to say we outperformed the expectations of those who know a shitload more about football than you do.
Oklahoma will more than likely handle us but I like the direction our program is heading.

I'll give the Vols some credit. Utah St might not be any good, but you guys looked much better than I thought you would.

Well duh, usu ain't world beaters but they're still a solid team more so than South Dakota state, temple, ut Martin, Idaho, and possibly Boise state.
It's not that we won, it's that we did it so convincingly.
Even with all the turnovers against WKU last year they could still drive on us. That didn't happen tonight.
Worley also looked much better than he did against worse competition last year.

At least we won and didn't get curb-stomped. Also, our secondary doesn't rank last in the SEC. SCAR has a shite ton you should be worrying about.

I think the reaction of UT fans is that people thought this was going to be a close game and some people thought that we might lose. Some USU fans were dead arse serious that we would lose by a couple touchdowns. That is why UT fans are reacting this way.
