Wow. Fired up fans at the first game of the year, a revenge game, at the opponent's stadium, and he was surprised that some of them taunted him? Is it his first game away. Trust me I have been to Clemson for game day, there was very little class to be found. In fact, other than the ridiculous UF fans, I have seen none worse than Clemson.

I am sincerely sorry that this guy had a bad experience but objectively there are much worse venues in college football. My perspective is that most of our fans are civil if not cordial.

I've attended around 150 college games on probably 10 different campuses and it's been my overwhelming experience that these "MY GRANDMA AND SIX YEAR OLD WERE RAPED AT A TAILGATE!" stories are way overblown. Was there a drunk redneck that busted his balls yesterday? Probably. But the incidents themselves usually get dramatized up a good bit.
If you keep a cool head at football games it is actually shocking how little excitement you'll witness from a crowd of 100k who have mostly been drinking. Never had problems at Clemson, Auburn, Bama, Tech, etc.

I know we have some dumbass fans, every school does. We have a few posters here who give UGA a bad name. Probably never had anything to do with the University or any other secondary school for that matter. Little Rascal fans, etc. the worst I've experienced in the SEC is UT, the best is LSU. But everybody has a story.
