Keep him. He is definitely a game changer. We have a stable of backs to give him enough breathers throughout the game.

I don't like it either....he's too damn valuable to the offense. Even if its just a fatigue issue is rather have somebody else back there.

Based on what I saw...the blocking was perfect so I'm not sure anyone with speed couldn't have done the same thing.

Do our guys just block better for Gurley? That shits just crazy to watch....he finds holes that other guys can't.

He's got really good vision, which really helps his game. It looks easy for him because he runs smart.

That KO return for a TD was very nice, but the lane he ran through a guy like Mckenzie, Michel or Spunky could have run through and scored probably. He showed again tonight that he is the best back in the nation and I'm just not the biggest fan of risking his health doing a special teams job that quite a few young guys with less important roles on offense could do with positive results.

No shite. Anything we can do to keep his legs fresh seems to be a good idea from where I'm sitting.

Hard to argue with results though...

The results prove all the stupid shmucks her were against it were wrong...and the coaching staff (plus me) were right.

Youre a dumbass and continue to prove it.

Great playx but its been pointed out the hole was big enough for jenkins to take it back.

Also, in order for you to be "proven right" you hsve to get through many more games.

You called it Swin, I didnt think there was any way in hell they would put him back there to return kick offs or punts and I said as much, you were right I was so wrong. But I still dont think its worth the risk

i want him getting as many touches as he can. what i dont like is him getting multiple series off in a tied or close ball game and only having 4 carries at the half. im probably an idiot because it clearly ended up working, they got worn down, and our backs dominated late. id just rather stomp on em "early with gurley."

If guys are going to get injured they are going to get injured, like Malcolm Mitchell last year. Think about this if we don't have Gurley returning KO's last night we might go into halftime down 21-14 and it becomes a different game.

This will be Gurleys last year. He will go in the top 5 draft picks if he remains healthy. So we need to use him as much as possible to go as far as he can take us.

I like..especially when they do everything NOT to kick it to him like Clemson did after his return.

It is a football play. He is our best football player. The guys appear to really like blocking for him.

Him being back there alone will get us an extra 5-10 yards. Kickers will try to over kick or do the short pooch to avoid him.

Go ahead and crow, and if the result had been being injured, you would have said?

Gurley is our best RB by far as we all know. Bunches of players can return kicks.

Look at the big boys, does Jamal Charles return kickoffs, AD, McCoy, Forte, Lynch, Gore, JJ Green, Julio, Megatron, on and on and on - cause there is too much risk for what they bring on a play by play basis.

Same here.

Gimmie a break.

People get injured in football. It happens. Youdont keep you rest player who is fresh, on the sideline watching someone get tackled on our own 20

I have zero problems with him returning kick offs. Brandon Boykin does though

And you don't run him 4 times a half, he should be coming off the line not fielding KOs. Bad move. May get lucky, but not worth the risk. See above on the NFL stars that don't go near it. There is a reason.

Every now and then sure, but not on a regular basis. Still makes me nervous.
