Looks like the east is y'all's to lose this year. Looking forward to a good game tmw. I think the X factor is Gurley. Both defenses should be improved, both teams have senior QBs starting their first game, also in UGA. It would seem you guys could have an edge, but i guess well see who wants it more. May the best team win, pulling for you guys after the first game...peace

You never know how the first game of the season is going to go. The teams react different ways. Nerves...etc. I hope nobody gets hurt in the game and it is an exciting one....I'm sure it will be exciting.

Excellent post. Welcome. Feel free to strike up some more convo than that. Where are the weaknesses for Clemson this year. Looks like O-line, RB, possibly QB? DB? Is your D going to be any better against the run this year. They better hope so against us? Honest answers are welcome.

Definitely Oline. Secondary will be better, we finally have a shutdown corner in Alexander, and our front 7 is very good I believe. I honestly can't say what our offense will do. I think we will run a different philosophy. Cole makes quicker reads and accurate short throws but doesn't have the running ability or deep ball Boyd had. We have some talent at receiver but no Watkins. Our best healthy talent at RB is CJ Davidson but I think they have the nod to the senior to start. We didn't have a great RB last year so I see that as a wash. How about you guys?

Yes I think we will be fine against the run, but our biggest test of the season in that is UGA. We faced Gurley, Carlos Hyde, Mike Davis, guy from Boston College, and Fl States RBs last year, and Gurley was the best by far.

Our OL was spotty last year. Sometimes good...sometimes not so good. We THINK it will be improved this year, but only time will tell.
Obviously our RBs are the strength. Our WRs are deep and talented. Nothing like a Sammy Watkins, but all are good. Mason, is good with the short/middle throws, but we think he will be spotty when throwing long.

Defensively...our front 7 could be very, very good. Our LBs should be one of the best in the country. We have depth and talent there. Secondary? Not really sure. We think it will be better than last year, but again, only time will tell. The secondary will probably be the weakest link in our team....but Pruitt has simplified the system and has really amped up the competition on the guys, so we are hoping to see some real improvement.

First...I hope it will be.
Secondly, I honestly believe it will. I think Theus will come into his own and do a good job at LT. I think with the moves that have been made we will be improved. I like Kublanow, Andrews. Yes. I I EXPECT it to be improved.

Not bragging, but UGA will win this going away. I stick to my prediction, UGA wins 55-17.

UGA is stacked Bro!

I do think we'll win. I'll be pulling for Clementine to win the rest of their games after tomorrow - including the A She She championship game

And yes, I will be pulling for y'all against the coots. At least this year. Since it does not hurt our strength of schedule...
