I was listening to 1 of the talking heads on 680 the fan, the other day. He predicted that Georgia was not going to win the National Championship this year. He's not exactly going out on a limb. Only 1 team out of something like 400 will win the National Championship. Chances are someone could make that prediction about any team, and they would be correct.

I do think Georgia has a good chance to win 10 games this year. Fans have no reason to complain when their team wins 10 games.

On defense the front 7 is solid, and we should really be excited about Lorenzo Carter and Leonard Floyd. The defensive backfield is a question mark, but it has been revamped, and I have a feeling it's going to be much better than last year.

Hutson Mason is a drop off from Aaron Murray, but he's still better than most other SEC qbs. Georgia has the best stable of running backs in the nation...Todd Gurley may be a Heisman contender. Georgia is solid at wide receiver and could get even better, if they get healthy. The offensive line is a question mark but should be adequate.

If Georgia can avoid miscues on special teams, they should post a better record than last year.

The schedule is good news this year. There is no team on there that is a sure loss. However, it is very hard to go undefeated in the SEC, especially when playing on the road. Here are the chances I give for Georgia to win each game starting with the least likely victories to the most likely victories.

South Carolina 45%
Auburn 50%
Arkansas 60%
Missouri 60%
Florida 65%
Tennessee 70%
Clemson 75%
Georgia Tech 80%
Kentucky 90%
Vanderbilt 90%
Troy 95%
Charleston 99%

I think Georgia is better than South Carolina this year, but the dawgs have to play that game on the road, and Spurrier has a bee up his butt about Georgia. It's going to be hard for Georgia to win that one.

Unfortunately, Auburn is back. Georgia should have beat them last year, and very well could beat them this year.

I am really worried about Arkansas. They are a team that will be desperate for a win, and it's a road SEC game.

Missouri is an SEC road game as well, but I still don't consider them a true SEC team. Georgia has more talent than Missouri this year and should prevail.

This is the last year for Florida's coach, I predict. I never understood why he was hired. However, they will play Georgia tough in a desperation game for them.

Tennessee lost all of their starting linemen on both sides of the ball. I can't believe a senior-dominated team went 5-7 last year. Georgia blew them out in 2010 and should have blown them out in 2011, 2012, and 2013. All 3 of those games became close because of freak accidents. Their luck should run out this year, and I'm hoping for another blow out. They might be a dark horse this year with young talent, but I expect them to crumble in Sanford Stadium.

Georgia is going to kill Clemson this year. The Vegas oddsmakers know something. Clemson lost their star players, and Georgia would have beat them last year, if it wasn't for the refs cheating. Hopefully, this year, the refs won't cheat us out in Sanford Stadium.

Georgia Tech = squashed flies. They just suck.

Kentucky might play Georgia tough this year, but they just don't have the ammo.

Georgia will gain revenge on Vandy this year.

Troy and Charleston are dog food.

I'd put our chances of winning below 45% against South Carolina on the road. Other than that, we will likely be favored in every game we play. I'm not worried about Arkansas but I think Missouri (on the road, likely a night game), Auburn, and Florida will all be tough matchups and games we potentially could lose.

With all of that being said, I'm drinking the koolaid and predict we only drop 1 game to either South Carolina or Florida/Auburn.

Seriously...how old are you? You post like a 12 year old. No one will read past this quote. Your post is too fricking long and you are waaaaay wrong in your 4th sentence......

First off, their are 1/3 the amount of teams in FBS than you stated. On top of that, only about 15 teams total have a real chance at the championship.....oh frick it, nevermind. Wasting my time with you

UGA goes 15-0 and wins it all!

I cannot understand how some already give up on the Dawgs for the USCe game, before the first snap of the season has begun. Last I checked, UGA beat USCe last year, with injuries, and with Grantham's defense, with Shaw at QB for them, and with Clowney. Will it be a blowout like Clemson will be? I don't think so, but I think the Dawgs take care of business in a convincing manner and let everyone in the nation know that this team is the real deal.
I predict that UGA is going in dry on Spurrier and co, and that even you reality Dawgs will be forced to come out of your pool of preseason mediocrity.

I say 9-3 regular season. Losses to Carolina, and Auburn, with 1 more loss coming from a team UGA should beat.

I was born in 1962.

You do the math.

I'm probably old enough to be your grandpa, and I'm sure I'm more mature and intelligent than you are.

I could write a whole bunch more on this post, but you already complained that reading a lot hurts your brain, so I'll quit before it gets too advanced for you.
