Is the AU vs Arky just a rant rivalry or does it exist everywhere?

And how did this odd rivalry start anyhow? Seems like a strange rivalry that has been brewing for a while. I remember it going on last year too.

Na yall were chippy last year as well. The Malzahn angle makes sense though. Also Dyer and mocha-cam? were from Arkansas as well. Maybe that had something to do with it.

Last year's chippy-ness, in the off-season at least, was partially both programs being a dumpster fire. At the time it was a race to see who could be relevant quicker.
Then an Arkansas man took a 3-9 Auburn team to the national championship while Arkansas remained essentially the same. It'd make me salty as hell too.

I do believe the rivalry started here. However, most college age students on both sides are well aware of message boards and it has started to move into real life.
