If it happens, it will be long after fatso gets kicked back to the Big 10.

So what exactly are you telling us? Why won't Gus' offense work? Because people will catch on? Because I've heard that since 09, Killz

I remember Bert called Gus out about a game tape last year. That pissed off the Auburn folks. I believe before that, Arkansas wanted Malzahn as HC.

The Arkansas and Auburn "rivalry" is all about Gus Malzahn.

I honestly think the main thing, before Gus, was that Arkansas finally had a decent coach (Petrino) and because LSU and Alabama were leading the west and Auburn was slowly falling behind with Tubbs, they thought they would surpass us in stature in the west

Because his defense is laughable. Sure he's been ahead of the bell curve with his offense. But when people start stopping it, Gus isn't going to magically become a defensive guru. And. 2009, what a great year. Gus and the might Auburn Tigers come into the game ranked #15 and get torched 44-23 by the hogs.

I don't expect him to become a defensive guru. I expect him to field a defense that gives up less points than his offense. He managed that 12 times last year and has recruited incredibly well on defense the past 2 years.

I think it goes back to Tubbs. Arky boy with a much better record than Arky can every hope to obtain, but oddly Arky always came to play Auburn. They have had our number many times when we were a better team.

Yeah. That may be part of it. The Auburn-Arkansas thing has been fun to watch. It takes a little heat off Bama fans b/c you guys blast the hell out of Bert and Co. It keeps y'all busy.

The volume of Malzahn posts from Arkansas fans would beg to differ.

Most Arkansas fans I know started disliking Auburn when the whole Cam/Malzahn thing happened. We also won 5/7 from 2006-2012 and that was in the middle of it so it's been a pretty competitive series. Then you have the whole bielema vs. Gus thing going on combined with Gus recruiting (and getting) some players from Arkansas in the recent past(whether we really went after them hard or not).

But I don't think it really became a rant thing until gus and bielema were both hired as HCs.

I'm not an expert on mid level teams.

How's not having Malzahn working out for ya?

Get called out for not having any clue what you are talking about. Try to flame instead. Gotta love a good rantard.

Where else would I interact with Arkansas fans aside from the T&F world?
