BCS Era OOC Losses: What was your school's most disappointing?

I was looking around the interwebs at lunch and was reminded how embarrassing Tennessee and to a lesser extend UGA have been whilst wearing the SEC logo in OOC games recently, but hey, at least they schedule those high profile games.
They're not the only ones though.
For LSU obvious answer is UAB in 2000. I was most disappointed by the 2010 Capital One Bowl loss to Penn State though. That sucked, even though it's easy to blame the field.

Boise State beating the SEC East champs in their home state is pretty bad, even though they are a decent team. @ a horrible CU team was pretty low also.

There was honestly nothing embarrassing about that game. I always believed that they had talent, especially on the offensive side of the ball.

I can't remember the last time we lost to a OOC team in the BCS era. I'm getting old, my mind is slipping.
Clemson I guess maybe? Yeah, that's it. I forget the year but it was during the Holtz era and they mudholed us at our place. It was just their night. 2003 maybe?

YOu have the same problem everyone else does, in that you fail to look at things rationally and only look at the side of the helmet. Going into that game UGA was ranked around 22nd, whereas Boise was ranked about 8th. They were the better football team. We lost to them because they were better. Their name being "boise state" shouldnt' change anything. I'll also point out we played Boise prior to that year and beat them by about 4 touchdowns.

You know we won 6 games that year, right? One bad team losing to another is embarrassing? I'd say a good/great team losing to a bad one is even more embarrassing.

It was almost Utah state but we pulled that out of our asses. USF would be the most likely answer for most auburn fans. Unless my old age and alcoholism is forgetting something.

Losing by 3 in a BCS bowl isn't that embarrassing.
