That Colorado loss on the road was pretty pathetic for UGA.

Yeah it was. I just assumed the entire team toked up the night before. Can't blame them. They were in Boulder.

In retrospect, the only disappointing OOC losses we had during the BCS era were to GA Tech, in particular the '03 road loss. We were loaded that year, were embarassed at home by eventual #1 USC in the opener, then turned around and let a thoroughly mediocre Tech squad beat us soundly, a week after they had been trounced by a lousy BYU team that finished with 8 losses. The Jackets went on to lose to Duke, who was on their way to a 4-8 record, and had just fired their HC days before.

The loss at home to Tech two years later wasn't quite as disappointing, as we were breaking in a new QB and had lost several first-rounders from our undefeated '04 team.

The next worse OOC loss from '98-'13 was at home to a pretty good USF team in '07 - at least they were in a BCS conference when it happened. Fortunately, we never lost to anyone of the caliber of LAMO, UAB, or Arky State, much less to an FCS team like Maine or GA Southern.
