You're pitching Ellis.
We're pitching Kirby.

Who you got? UVA or Ole Miss?

Come visit The Sabre for some information. Terrible format but quality posts.

I'll start this off by saying that I appreciate Ole Miss more than most SEC schools. The high brow, southern charm and living is very similar to UVA. Academics aside, the school cultures are very similar.

Oxford is #1 on my list of places to visit and I envy your baseball atmosphere and outfield. I want a right field shower

This game decides who make it to the championship series IMO. Going to be a pitching battle that favors UVA, but we have the bats that can keep us in it. I'm cautiously optimistic, should be a great game.

I really felt we would have had the advantage throwing our Saturday guy due to him being hotter at the moment and being lefty matching up against y'all's left handed batters. I think y'all have the pitching matchup now. We have the better offense. You the better defense. It might just be my disappointment in throwing Ellis instead of Trent, but I feel y'all have the advantage. It's baseball so we will see

I've said it many times that it's a shame VA and OM play each other in game 1. I think y'all are the two best teams in the tournament. That being said, anyone in the bracket could make a run.

I don't follow baseball much but I've kept a eye on Ole Miss this season. When Bianco decided to put that kid in I'd never heard of and take Bortles out I was thinking this guy has lost it. The guy then hits a triple driving in 3 to seal the win against ULL. I say all that to say I think Bianco knows Ellis wants another shot since he had the bad game against ULL. I expect him to be on his A game.

When do we not play the best team possible in the NCAA baseball tournament? Had to play #1(in the poles) ULL only to immediately have to play new number 1 Virginia. It's not even Larry Templeton's doing this time....or is it?

Bianco loves playing the numbers on whether to switch hitters based in a lefty or righty matchup. A lot of times it doesn't work and leaves me fuming. I'm not a huge believer in the system.

It worked out beautifully Monday night though.

It would bother me if he was inconsistent with it, but because he rarely ever wavers from his plan to do it, I'm ok with it. You have to be either all in or all out. It will eventually even out due to the law of large numbers. Like it did when he pinch hit for bortles.

And on this game I'm really curious to see how we come out and play. I bet they are going to be really relaxed because there is no pressure on them anymore now that we got over the hump. I bet bianco is very aggressive and I bet they will try to attack on offense and on the base path early to try to put more pressure on UVA. If we do that and Ellis has a quality start I like our odds.

Have no clue. Happy to get over the hump and get here. Should honestly be a great game and whoever wins this game has a great shot to make it to the end. So pumped to still be watching my team play ball this late in the year

I feel the same way.
