Longest Non Conference Power 5 Scheduling Droughts

4. Texas A&M

Last Non-Conference, Power-Five Opponent: Sept. 1, 2011 vs. Arkansas at Arlington, Texas

Last Non-Conference, Power-Five, Regular-Season Win: 27-6 win over Clemson in 2004

The Aggies haven’t scheduled a power-five opponent in the regular season since their final year in the Big 12. What’s even more shocking is that Texas A&M hasn’t won a scheduled non-league game against a power-five team in 10 years. The Aggies are 0-6 since in such games since 2005, losing once to Clemson, twice to Miami (Fla.) and three times to Arkansas.

Thank you for your interest in our program.

Could you by chance tell me when the last time Ole Miss defeated A&M was, I'm having a hard time finding that information.

Arkansas game was October 1, 2011, not September 1.

the Rebels will just have to live with the satisfaction of knowing that they beat Texas in their last outing

so they DO have something in common with the Aggies!

oh wait, nevermind...

You what's interesting? Every time a critical thread is started on here the fans of the team who looks bad in the OP immediately attack whatever team the OP has by his name. Every time. Every fanbase.

Using last years Aggie logic, they beat the team that beat you so it is a win

They run that state though, have you missed those match-ups with national powers SMU and Sam Houston?

To be honest, I'm not real sure that's an Ole Miss fan. It's obviously somebody's alter but who knows from what school. I'm just trying to be an a-hole.

Exactly. I don't think 3andout is an aggie but his threads were full of anti aggie shite. I try to attack the poster not the school.

This argument loses a lot of water when you realize we have ASU in 2015" UCLA in 2016 and 2017 and Oregon in 2018 and 2019. All were scheduled before the mandate to schedule a major OOC game every year was passed.

I know you don't care, but what do ulyou think happened in 2011 after we had agreed to a 10 yr game with arky? Lets add that one whole P5 conference won't play us. Also, what do you think we are playing OOC starting in 2015?

No it doesn't. Just because you "might" play better opponents in the future doesnt take away from what it has been.
