Here is what I have so far from both boards, let me know if it needs any corrections or additions. fell free to give me comments on any listed. I tried to leave off locations for the chains. I will just include their website to the master list. However if a chain has a better location(Like Golden Rule or Dreamland)let me know.

I will start a new thread with the interactive map in a few days. I have this all on a spreadsheet, so it will be much easier to upload

Archibald and Woodrow's 4215 Greensboro Ave Tusculosa 35405
Archibald's 1211 Mlk Jr Blvd Northport 35476
BBQ Shack Dothan .try the smoked chicken salad their BBQ pork is ok. But they don't serve beer and I don't trust a BBQ joint that doesn't sell beer.
Big Daddy's BBQ Warrior
Bob Gibson's
Bob Sykes Bessmer
Boneyard BBQ HWY 75 Albertville
Brads Oxford
Brick Pit 5456 Old Shell Rd Mobile 36608 By far my favorite. I consider it the best in Mobile. Love their pulled pork
Brick Pit
Bunyans Bar-B-Que 901 West College St. Florence 35630 for their hot slaw and hot dogs is a must have before you die
Butts to Go Pell City It is a Texaco Quick Shop and gas station.
Byron's Auburn
Cams BBQ 278 has a really really good sauce, meat is mediocre though.
Charlie's BBQ Odenville Best BBQ brisket in Alabama.
Chuch Wagon BBQ Madison
Chuck's 8982 Madison Blvd Madison Definitely one of the best in northern Alabama ,closed on weekends but their briskets and ribs are to die for
Chuck's Auburn
Dads Anniston
Demetri's Birmingham
Dickey's BBQ Is this the chain?
Dreamland
Fat Boy's BBQ Prattville
Fat Girl's BBQ US-82 Billingsly
Fat Man's BBQ Pell City BBQ is decent, but the cheeseburger is awesome.
Full Moon
Full Moon  original downtown Birmingham; barbecue pork sandwhich w/ chow chow, and the vinegar based coleslaw on the sandwhich; best aspect of Full Moon is the chocolate chip cookies
Georgia Pit 5492 Highway 280 Birmingham Cowboy's gas station parking lot. It is called the Georgia Pit and they smoke with pecan. Their meat (pulled pork, conecuh sausage and ribs) is usually outstanding and the spicy sauce is awesome
Good ole Boys Sylacauga
Green Top 7530 Old U.S. 78 Dora 35062
Hawg-n-Dawgs Ozark
Hook's Troy
Hook's Opp best potato salad d I've ever had; make great pork and rice
Hoo's Q 101 15th St Tusculosa 35401 my least favorite... tastes remotely like the kind of bbq you get in a tub at a grocery store, but I don't think there's such a thing as bad bbq
Jim and Nick's
Jim n Nicks  love their habanera bbq sauce
Jim's bbq on highway 82
Johnny's BBQ Culman
J's Hole In The Wall Bryant
Ken's
Ken's BBQ Pinson better breakfast IMO and that has gotten them on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives before, but worth a mention
Lanies Selma
Lawlers loaded bake potato is the best with a slice of pecan pie.
Lewis Heavenly Tusculosa
Little Nick's Huntsville
Lloyd's Vestavia ore down home cooking but great BBQ and ribs
mary's bbq gurley
Meat Boss 5401 Cottage Hill Rd Mobile 36609 They're only open ~10 hours a week but they've got some good stuff
Mike And Ed's Auburn
Miss Linda's trailer Greenville
Miss Myra's Pit Bar BQ Vestavia Hills Stay away from the ribs though. Best smoked chicken in the state IMO)
Moe's prominent mustard taste in sauce... strange ribs, but pulled pork good
Ms Myra's BBQ Cahaba Heights Home of the original white sauce
Natch's Childersburg Their smoked turkey is really good.
Old Greenbrier Madison
Phil's Eufuala
Porky's Pride 2516 Walker Chapel Rd Fultondale
Pottery Grill 13751 U.S. 11 Cottondale
Pruitt's BBQ Rainbow Dr(I believe) Gadsden like their catfish more than I like the BBQ.
R&B BBQ Lincoln Horrible building for a restaurant, smokes up easily
Ray's BBQ Atalla 35954
Rusty's BBQ Leeds Probably the best ribs I've had (dry rub, smoked 24 hrs)
Sam's BBQ Atlanta Hwy Montgomery Lunch only, get there early or risk missing out. Very limited menu includes pork, sausage, bbq beans, slaw and fries.
Saucy Q Mobile
Saw's You haven't lived till you've had the pork and greens; The sweat tea brined chicken sandwich is the shite. Must have.; Pretty good selection. Boudin was actual boudin
Sho'-Nuff BBQ Alex City big sandwich and stew was hard to beat
Simmons BBQ Guntersville pulled pork so good you can literally feel your arteries clogging. Their sides kind of suck so I stick to the sandwich when I eat there
Singletons 4220 Huntsville Rd Florence 35630
Sledges BBQ 45 golden Pond Rd Florence 35630 best brisket I have ever ate. Good pulled pork and ribs, the Brunswick stew is legit; The brisket sandwich is an OMG experience
Smokin on the Boulevard Florence They were selected as the best ribs in the state by al.com
Tate's BBQ Scottsboro really good if you like a vinegar based sauce. It's a pull up spot with no inside. The place looks like it should be condemned but is actually one of my favorites
The Barbecue House Auburn
The original Golden Rule 2504 Crestwood Blvd Irondale Good chopped pork, real fries, good baked beans. You can eat, pay, and be back on the road in 25 minutes
The Smokehouse Millbrook
Thomas Pit BBQ 7929 Hwy 72 Madison 35758 Best BBQ in the area IMO.
Top Hat 8725 U.S. 31 Hayden 35079 At one time, it was the best BBQ in the state. Not sure any more.
Triple R BBQ Scottsboro
Twix 'N Tween Centreville
Waynes BBQ Cleveland great it's just a little one room shack.
Wilson's BBQ HWY 431 Albertville

For the Greater Birmingham area:

Full Moon is my favorite. I'm not much a pork eater but when I do have a craving, I get their barbecue pork sandwhich w/ chow chow, and the vinegar based coleslaw on the sandwhich!. Love the fact that they have steak fries. Their barbecue sauce is good. However, the best aspect of Full Moon is the chocolate chip cookies

My second favorite is Jim-n-Nicks. I'm not big on their barbecue as much as their side items, specifically the Mac-n-cheese. I'm partial to the Homewood and Southside locations as the mac on 280 taste different. They have the best barbecue sauce. The lemon pie is everything lemon pie should be and more. I would also say the hamburger Dave is one of the best in Birmingham and I have it with their well seasoned fries with their awesome barbecue sauce on the side

And we've got a Jim & Nick's now

ETA: Those are the only ones I care about, anyway

My home town! Yes. I actually always stop by when visiting family to pick up some BBQ sauce from Hooks. You can't find a sauce that tastes like it anywhere else. It's not sweet, it's not super hot. It's tangy and amazing. They also make great pork and rice.

In Ozark, AL there's Hawg-n-Dawgs. That place is pretty amazing as well.

Here in Huntsville I've only been to Moe's so far, and it's ok.

Ms Myra's BBQ in Cahaba Heights, Al. Home of the original white sauce.

Charlie's BBQ in Odenville, Al. Best BBQ brisket in Alabama.

Top Hat BBQ in Blount Springs, Al. At one time, it was the best BBQ in the state. Not sure any more.

Fat Man's BBQ in Pell City, Al. BBQ is decent, but the cheeseburger is awesome.

Birmingham: Saw's, Golden Rule (the iron dale one), Full Moon, and Ms. Myra's

Dreamland is awful but famous.

Jim n Nicks is just dumpster sewage.

Leeds: Rusty's BBQ. Probably the best ribs I've had (dry rub, smoked 24 hrs).

Depends on which one you go to. The ones in Birmingham and Mobile leave a lot to be desired but the OD in Tuscaloosa is really good IMO

It's definitely better in TTown, but other than their sauce, I wasn't impressed. Overly salted pork and ribs cooked way too quickly with way too much heat.

You have to know what too order at Jim-N-Nicks. I stay away from their barbecue because it is trash but frick you if you don't think the Hamburger Dave with bacon is not legit

I really think it depends on which location you go to. Trussville and 280 are blah but the Southside and Homewood are great

Also, if nothing else the Mac-n-cheese is worth the visit

Chez fon fon and Saw's have a better burger, so the reason to go there is the mc n cheese?

Yes

Haven't been to either of the two you mentioned although Saw's is actually on my list resteraunts to visit. I'm a burger connoisseur so I'm always on the hunt for new places to try. What's better there, the barbecue or the burgers?
