Those smoked hot wings are the bomb. An order of those and a Sweetwater draft and I'm as happy as it gets.

Bob Sykes is great I just can't justify driving there when I'm in the Birmingham area. It's not so much the shitty city, it's just far out of the way and around nothing else worth visiting.

No Cotton's BBQ yet?

Everyone around Lake Martin knows of this place, right? Right off Highway 63 headed towards Kowaliga from Eclectic.

I've heard of it, but never been.

Side note, whoever was in charge or renovating Kowliga, they did a fantastic job. It is 10x better than it was two years ago. Food is good, service is good, atmosphere is improved.

Yea, I have a bunch of friends that work up there. It was called Kowaliga a long time ago, then shifted to Sinclair's, and then back to Kowaliga. I do wish they would ramp up the menu a little bit...there isn't too much to choose from...but I do agree about the service, food, and atmosphere (just don't stay after hours, there is a LOT of drama from Ben Russell and Eclectic girls).

I'm sure there is. Those Eclectic girls are bat shite crazy. It was so bad when it was Sinclair's, though me and my friends would still go raise hell there because its one of the few places on the lake to go.

Trust me, I know first hand.

You can typically tell which ones want to make something out of there lives, too... The redneck, hick, trashy mother frickers are still living in and around Eclectic. The ones that want to be successful went away to college, and/or moved to another part of the state.

I wouldn't mind stopping by the bar in there this weekend while I'm on the lake, though. We keep our boat at the Kowaliga Marina there.

We use to keep our boat there, but when they opened Parker Creek we moved over there because we are about 200 yards from it. Much more convenient

Cannot wait to get down their for the 4th.

We almost stored ours there, but it was just too far away...

Do they have dry and wet slips there at Parker Creek?

It's all dry storage in their warehouse. No wet slips unfortunately.
