Without reading I'm going to ahead and say we benefit from only have 2 D1 programs in the state compared to most of those teams having a few smaller, not very good programs.
For example. SC and Clemson have been top 10 programs for the past 3 years. AU and 'Bama are great, but probably drug down by the likes of Troy and UAB. (if that's the criteria)

I didn't write the article hombre. But I can say I agree with this in aggregate.

Listen. I sifted through an entire slide show to mine this data. I'm not just going to email it to my dad. The world needs to see this.

#1 is not even debatable. A team from Alabama has won 4 of the last 5 national titles and played in the last 5 national title games in a row. The State of Alabama is either at or nearing the dominance of the State of Florida in the 90's.

The state's two FBS teams are moving in opposite directions, with Arkansas of the SEC losing ground to perennial Sun Belt contender (and power program coach groomer) Arkansas State.

Cocks alone make South Carolina not even top 25 with their shitty history

Without even looking I am going to assume its a Barrett Sallee article and know its complete hogshit.

Sallee's inner barner would have Alabama at #1, no questions asked.
