The Downfall of the SEC

When Saban eventually retires, I think we will see the power of the conference dip substantially. The same thing happened when the Bear retired. No longer will we have the great coach of all time roaming the sidelines in our conference and stadiums, no longer will we have the great hatred that fuels the LSU/Bama rivarly. No longer will we have multiple coaches with multiple rings.
By the time Saban leaves, I'm willing to bet OBC and Miles will be gone too. We will literally no have no head coach who has won a championship in the conference unless Gus wins one soon. I've heard rumors that Gus is very interested in the NFL now, after seeing the success that Chip Kelly is having with the Eagles. So his days with Auburn will very likely be short.
Everything that comes up, must come down. The downfall is upon us. I fear for the future.

The key will be the hiring process.
These teams will be able to attract a large pool of candidates, it's making that right choice and no I don't think Kirby Smart is the answer or successor unless he gets some head coaching experience. By that time I'm willing to bet Jimbo Fisher could be enticed by a team like Bama.
Remember Bama was pretty close to hiring Rich Rod, Michigan is still recovering from that hire.

Yes I'm not sure of Kirbys merits until he goes somewhere smaller first.

All of you laugh now but when the downfall comes, you all will be turning to me and asking for answers. Things are only going downhill from here.

When Saban finally retires, look for Richt and Miles to have a field day. Gus as well.
It'll be better for the conference so other SEC coaches can step up and win.

Miles is getting old too and Richt will never win a championship ever!

This is incorrect, I'm afraid.

Admit it.
You believed the world would end on Dec. 23, 2012.
And you have a fortress in your backyard, complete with a urine-powered generator and 74 cases of canned yams.
