Troll, but since all 3 of those picks were on offense and we had a top 5 offense two years in a row that he took elite offensive talent and had an elite offense. If in 2 years we still have a bottom 20 defense then the knocks on Sumlin will be fair.
2 years ago people didnt think A&M would make a bowl game for 5 years+...stop moving the goalpost and you'd realize that Sumlin is better than you give him credit for.

A&M will hire boom when UF fires him after this season and then dominate the west til Sumlin goes pro.

Richt has had the same MO. It just goes to show that star players must be surrounded by a solid supporting cast to create a high level team. Likewise it is possible (no loss Miami Dolphins) to create an effective team of no name players who play extremely well together as a team.

A&M had one of the worst defenses in all of college football last season. That is why they lost games. Not hard to figure it out.
