Reggie Wilkerson... yet another name that could contribute.
Hopefully the days of players shrugging in confusion and looking to the sidelines are over.

“Sure, you’d like to have a veteran group, a bunch of guys that have been back there and had success,” Pruitt said. “We’re not there yet. We’re starting to figure out a little bit. We’re learning how to communicate with each other. They’re learning what the expectations are for the defensive staff. We’ve made some strides back there, but we’re not there yet.”

I won't believe it until I don't have to watch the train wreck that is 11 defensive players looking in unison to the sideline with the same "da fuq" look.

Can you link me to a play on youtube where this happened?
On the defensive side of the ball, that is.
I know it happened on offense alot last year, blown routes, blown blocking assignments.
Thanks in advance.

Can you give me a specific example of this?

Look, I get it. You're here to play devil's advocate. You thrive on being the contrarian. But i know you watched the games last year. I know you saw those kids looking over in befuddlement, wondering where they were supposed to be way more than they were supposed to. You saw defensive backs running 15-20 yards to their spot right before the ball was snapped.
It's hard to get these links you so desperately crave because it requires going back through the individual games and watching way more than many of us have time for.
Defending Grantham is a noble effort, someone has to do it. Even though we've shown that you wanted him fired from quotes you made during the season last year. Keep up the character, we need people like you around here in the offseason when it's a little slow.

Yo man, I like you. But come on, there were SO many plays where the defense was caught off guard because they were in the wrong position, or trying to get to where they should have been. I saw this at least once a game. Don't be disingenuous.

How about the play where the guy tipped the ball up instead of knocking it down? I bet he was confused.

I recall the broadcasters even mentioning the apparent confusion on the defense on a couple of occassions. I believe the discussion was something like they're second guessing themselves and it makes them hesitate.

i will say i was at the nebraska game in the endzone watching them have no idea what to do before that huge play they gave up...Herrera was losing his mind cause he knew the backfield was confused....CTG called the timeout....gave Nebraska a chance to recoup and they ended up blowing our coverage anyway...you all know what play im talking about...and it was one of many...
