Who do you think would be the best hire they can make? Specifically, who would be someone they have a legitimate shot at getting (no Saban, Stoops, Meyer, Carrol, Harbaugh, etc)? One last thing, no coordinators. If WM doesn't work out, Foley likely doesn't hire anyone that would need to learn on the job.

I don't think he'll work out. In fact, I think he's one of the worst coaches in the SEC. What he does with your talent is borderline criminal. It's Dooley level coaching with elite recruiting.

I think your next hire is a grand slam, although I'm not going to make a definitive prediction. It's the most attractive job in America, and I don't think it's close.

Interesting. I know he was at UF for a long time but I just can't see him leaving Texas.

Really, he has utilized all their defensive talent VERY well. HE is a great DC, just a shitty HC. ANd there is very little offensive talent on UF's roster at the moment.

Curious. What do Florida fans really think of Boom at this point? How many wins needed this year to keep the fans happy?

This guy. He needed more time. UF AD needs to give him all the time he needs and then some.

I know OP said no assistants, but thats the perfect hire for UF. Florida has been dominant when they have a great offensive head coach, not so much when they have a defensive minded HC (Muschamp,Zook)

Texas boosters might help push him out if there.

He needs 9 or more with wins against at least 2 Top 15 teams including FSU.

I like WM, he is a cool dude, but I would be lying if I didn't say I was extremely disappointed with last year.

Not sure there's a set amount of wins, but the perception of the program, more specifically the offense, will greatly impact his job security.

If Muschamp doesn't work out this year then I think UF makes a strong run at Chip Kelly. It's my impression that he almost "had" to leave Oregon because of potential NCAA transgretions. He had success last year in very weak NFC East, but I think he would come back to college if the right opportunity presented itself. The NFL is just a brutal business where it is difficult to win and more importantly, sustain success. Florida would definitely be considered a "right opportunity" IMO

If Chip Kelly goes to UF it'd be game over for everybody.
