I would be alright with Morris, but not sure Foley will go after him. Would really like it if he brought Scott with him.

I know one thing for sure, I want an offensive minded HC, and one that runs the Spread.

He would definitely have success, but I don't think he would dominate the SEC. The athletes on defense in the SEC are just too good overall. Eventually they would adapt. Still, he'd have UF fighting for the top of the SEC East year in and year out

Bobby Petrino meeting with the Gator gymnastics squad minutes after interviewing with Foley for the HC job.

Personally, I don't want Petrino at UF. Hope that doesn't happen.

Chip isn't leaving the Eagles after another year if Muschamp is let go after this year. He took the Eagles to the playoffs last year. Barring a 3 win season, Kelly is good for 2-3 years IMO.

Kelly will always be able to go back to college when he wants anyway at almost any available top job. He'll stay in the NFL as long as possible.

I'm kind of surprised nobody has mentioned Kingsbury. He is the type of young up and coming coach that Foley likes. If he has any type of success in year 2 at Tech, I could see him being high on Foley's list.

Boom has no excuses. There is no excuse for the head football coach at UF to only win 4 games.

The great news for UF is that they are still recruiting at an elite level. I've never seen a team do that like UF did after such a bad year. Thus, the transition will be easy. I don't think you would experience the Bama/Saban transition.

Kingsbury is at his Alma Mater, he won 't leave for a burning ship, which Florida will be if Muschamp is fired.

Though you said no Coordinators Chad Morris is a good bet. Muschamp was hired as a DC, I see no reason they wouldn't hire an OC, especially one who wins inspite of his HC.

Meh, UF isn't really a "dumpster fire" program. As Duckie said above, a good HC can step in and win with the talent at UF. In-state recruiting is too good for UF to turn into a dumpster fire IMO.

Not trying to derail but VOLS have had 4 straight losing seasons and we just pulled a better class than UF.

But to your point the cupboard will definitely be pretty full for the next guy if Muschamp fails.

I think Todd Graham is a possibility, if Larry Fedora has a good year he fits the Foley mold. Assistants would be out of the question, so I could see any number of small school guys as well.

I read this as Todd Grantham for a second If only.

UGA will start making preparations for UF's next coaching search. By the time it happens, the choice will be obvious.
