the same way it helped out Auburn in football when Saban was hired.

I definitely see Bama going all out next year to hit a homerun too. They have the money.

I'm not getting my hopes up. Anthony Grant was supposed to be a home run.

No, they only care about football, and they will try their best to stop the Gus bus.

Congrats on hiring Pearl. I think there's a good chance he'll bring consistent success to auburn basketball.

At some point, he may even establish an auburn basketball identity so that you can see yourselves through a lense other than comparing yourselves to Crimson Tide football. We can all only hope.

People think you're trolling but I thought this was a sincere thread. Either Grant will turn it around, or we'll throw a ton of money at someone because of this. I think you're right.

Nope. This will light a fire under our those on our BOT that only give a shite about football. Auburn doesn't ever need to steal the spotlight.

Hopefully you are right. The amount of money Grant is making and the team continues to get worse is just astounding.

But somehow it's not his fault guys transfer or he can't develop a single decent post player

Yeah. but now they're going to have to fire Saban.
